This year, Em. Prof. Dr. Frank Snoek (Amsterdam UMC, The Netherlands) was the guest speaker, discussing the impact of stress on diabetes. The symposium also explored diabetes technologies during pregnancy (Prof. Dr. Katrien Benhalima, UZ Leuven, Belgium), the role of people with type 1 diabetes in scientific research (Prof. Dr. Jurgen Vercauteren, KU Leuven, Belgium), opportunities for young diabetes researchers to present their work (PhD students: Laure Degroote, Laura Valgaerts, and Jolien De Meulemeester), and advances in detecting type 1 diabetes before symptom onset (Prof. Dr. Kristina Casteels and Prof. Dr. Chantal Mathieu, UZ Leuven, Belgium).

A small recap in pictures and reel.
