Castles, Arrows, and Laughter

September 9, 2015
Our lab retreat took us to Alden Biesen, where the Landcommanderij’s historic castle and sprawling green domain set a magical scene for the day.

We wandered through the castle, solving games along the way, and tested our skills with Robin Hood-like archery on the grounds.

The highlight was a lively theatre play—starring King Jos, maids Lut and Conny, and butler of the day, Chantal—full of humor and mischief that had everyone cheering.

As the sun set over the castle, we gathered for a fantastic dinner, sharing stories and laughter to end a truly memorable day.
