The Leuven Diabetes Lab stepped away from the lab for a memorable team day in Antwerp. We kicked things off at the Illusion Museum, where optical illusions, unexpected perspectives and plenty of creative photo opportunities provided lots of fun and some great team pictures!
After all that visual trickery, we headed to Bier Central Antwerp for a well-deserved drink, with plenty of beers and wines and, of course, good conversations.
The highlight of the afternoon was our murder dinner. Over a delicious dinner, we became detectives for the evening, trying to unravel a mysterious case, uncover clues and figure out who was behind the crime. With plenty of suspense, surprising twists and some enthusiastic detective work, it made for a truly entertaining experience.
We ended the day with a train ride back to Leuven, giving us the perfect opportunity to relax, catch up and continue the conversations.
Great food, great company, a little mystery and lots of laughter: a lab day to remember!
